Boho Flower Coasters and Trivets
I love these crochet flowers and use them in granny square creations all the time. They definitely give Boho vibes. Here is a fun free crochet pattern that uses these flowers in cute coasters and trivets. You can sell them individually or combine them as a set.
Made with cotton macrame cord or cotton yarn. For the trivets, you an also use cotton tube yarn. I have read you can also use Wool yarn, but I haven’t done that. You definitely do not want to use acrylic or polyester yarn as it can burn or melt. Cotton is the best option.
For the Crochet Coasters, I used 1mm and 2mm cotton macrame cord or 1 strand of cotton yarn. You can get some of the macrame cord at Hobby Lobby or Joanns, but I also buy some from Amazon because I can get bigger quantities which keeps my cost down. The brand from Hobby Lobby said it was a 1mm cord, but the same size cord from Amazon was actually 2mm. That is why 2 sizes are listed. You can choose to sell them in sets of 2 or 4.
For the Crochet Trivets, I used 3mm Cotton Macrame cord for the small trivet and 4mm & 5mm Cotton Macrame cord for the Large. The beige I used was a 4mm and the gray I used was a 5mm. Either size will work with the large trivet. With the small trivet, I also used 2 strands of cotton yarn and achieved the same size trivet as the 3mm cord. Some cords seem to run different in size. The brand from Hobby Lobby said it was a 1mm cord, but the same size cord from Amazon was actually 2mm. That is why 2 sizes are listed.
