Boho Flower Sunglass Pouch

This is such a cute way to carry your sunglasses! This Boho style flower granny square is one of my favorites! This year I created several items with this flower. It is so girly and can be used in so many ways!

This pouch is made with cotton yarn. My favorite yarn for this project is Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Cotton. There are so many amazing colors. You can choose to do a solid color like I did, or let your creative juices flow and change colors each row of the flower. There is no limit to your creativity.

These were a pretty quick make for my upcoming markets. The first market of the season for me this year is a Boho Bazaar, which lead to so many Boho themed items.

I also chose to go with a color scheme this year for my markets.

Obviously, colors will vary based on the type of yarn, but this is my general color scheme with a little dusty rose mixed in.

Seam Top and Bottoms together

Seam a top and bottom together with a SL ST into the inside loops on each side. I start in the middle HDC and end with the middle HDC on the other side.

(you will have 2 sets)

Seam together to make pouch

Put both the front pieces and back pieces together. Wrong sides together.

Start in the top corner with a SL ST into the middle HDC ST, SC down first side, when I get to the seam, I like to do HDC in the corner, into the seam and in the next corner, SC to the bottom corner

3SC in the middle HDC, SC across the bottom, 3SC in next middle HDC of the next corner, SC up the other side (doing HDC by the seam). Finish with a SL ST into the middle HDC. Tie off and weave in ends.

I hope you enjoy making these! I would love to see what you make. You can share them on Social Media and tag me or join my new Handmade With Love group.  Let’s connect!!
