Mini Faux Plant Pots

Sweet Mini Plant Pots

I love having options for people at my markets. Not everyone is looking for a beanie. During the Holidays I got these super cute trees from Hobby Lobby and crocheted pot covers for them. They were a huge hit at my Holiday Markets. That put me on the hunt to find something for my summer markets.

Amazon is always a go to for me to find things in bulk. In my search, I found these adorable little pots! They come in several variations: White pots, Black pots, Greens, Painted Greens, Flowers and they have square pots. They are mini, about 2.5″ pot size and over all height with the greens is around 7″. They come in a 12 pack for $24.99 which makes them just over $2 a pot.

I ordered these in the winter, when they arrived they were cold and a little smooshed. I opened the box and took them all out to warm up and they were easy to fluff and reshape. They look as cute as the pictures.

These pots are pretty light and they are hollow inside. I used clear Elmers Glue and some stones inside the pot to add some weight and finish off the look. I also got some wood discs to glue to the bottom of the pot just to give it a little more stability. You don’t have to add that if you don’t want to. Especially if you are making it for yourself.

I also found some medium pots, about 4″. One set had some trailing leaves and came with 3 pots. The other set had 4 pots, and I felt like the leaves looked a little more real. The set of 4 was actually a little cheaper and looked a little nicer.

I used Wool Ease Thick and Quick and Lion Brand Lazy Days Thick and Quick yarn. Any chunky weight yarn should work just fine. The size might be slightly different, you can change your hook size if needed.
