Tiny Faux Succulent Pots

HOW CUTE ARE THESE TINY SUCCULENT POTS!?!?!
I have had so much fun this year making faux plant pots for my markets. They have been a BIG seller for me. They are perfect for your office, home office, dorm, bathroom, dorm room or kids room! No need to worry about watering.

I have other blog posts about the faux plant pots I have made, Mini Faux Succulent Pots, Mini Faux Plant pots and Hanging Faux plant/succulent pots coming soon.

I found these sweet tiny succulent pots from Amazon. They come is 3 different varieties and you can get them in sets of 12, 24 or 48. The more you purchase, the cheaper they are!!
When I make items from another designer, I always like to ask them what they charge for an item. I certainly don’t want to charge more then the original designer and I don’t want to undervalue the item either. So for these little pots, I got the larger bundles, so the cost of my pots were $1.37-$1.75 and the cost of yarn is minimal. I use leather tags, so I combine that into my cost too. I charge $8 a piece and they have been a great seller!! I have found that having a variety of lower cost items at markets is very helpful. Especially $10 and under.

I chose to use Bernat Maker yarn. It used to be Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn. They went through a rebranding this year. Bernat Maker yarn is a tube yarn. It has stretch to it, so make sure your tension isn’t too tight. I really loved how this yarn worked for these tiny pots. The stitch definition is great.

If you would like a little direction in making these pots, you can follow my youtube video. It is a pretty simple construction.
